Skull and Roses Tattoo done by Art Gallardo
Done on a half of a chest, a skull with roses. I think that this was one of my first Color skulls. About a week earlier i had just finished a color drawing of a skull. This made the tattoo easy to do, just time consuming.

Zombie LA done by Art Gallardo Tattoo
This truly is one of my own creations. This image went all the way from a pencil sketch, to and ink design, to a tattoo. I love it. The customer got it on his shoulder, and we did it during the filming for Tattoo Rescue on Spike TV.

Marijuana done by Art Gallardo Tattoo
This is a Marijuana smile now and cry later. I like the "cry later" because it looks like it is coughing with the smoke.
Little Monster done by Art Gallardo Tattoo
So, this customer comes in with an image of a skull/bubble gum. And says, "i am the biggest Lady Gaga fan, this is an image from her merchandise. but could you make it better like a little more 3D? My customer was very happy with how it came out. The only down side is that i had to listen to Lady Gaga almost the entire tattoo.

Revolutionary done by Art Gallardo Tattoo
These guys finish off a customer of mine's lower sleeve. This is the reason why some parts seam to be cut off. The faces came out amazing, considering how small the tattoo is. The one on the right i got to look like Emilio Zapata, which my customer really loved. I have a lot of fun when i get to do some black and grey,

Footprints done by Art Gallardo Tattoo
I love doing these. These are made to look like the stamp that they do for the babies when they are born. You have got to take note that the prints are not lined, this is to give them that stamp effect.
Flames done by At Gallardo Tattoo
This was a fun simple flames design done on a forearm. On the left, i am showing how this was drawn directly to the skin with a tattoo pen. Then the finished result on the right. The white highlights on the tips made for a more dramatic look. And i like how the little flame on the inside, brings the skin into the design. Doing a free hand piece can always be intimidating, that makes me feel like i should do more.
